 We Lie

Women lie, Men lie

For reasons we can’t comprehend 

Little white lies and secrets

But no truth in hand

Women lie, Men lie

To make the world believe that we are part of the elite

Eyebrows on fleek, hair so sleek

But is that what we truly are underneath?

Women lie, Men lie

Through our teeth, we tell fables 

Desperately wanting the world to believe 

Yet deep down we know it’s just deceit 

Women lie, Men lie

“ i love u”, “ i love u too”

Really boo?

Jokes on you..you gave them your heart 

And they played you for a fool

Women lie, Men lie

Are we that strong to keep up a lie with another lie?

How long till your conscience dies?

So bad that you begin to believe all your lies.. 

Women lie, Men lie

“The truth shall set u free”, a saying only a few live by

Well,my truth is I’d rather die than live a lie..
